Distracted driving is the leading cause of car collisions.

Why distracted driving affects teens:

Anyone is susceptible to distracted driving. However, distracted driving is most prevalent in teens and is the leading cause of car collisions in teens because of three main reasons.

1. Teen drivers are new drivers and they do not have enough experience behind the wheel.
2. Teen drivers are fully capable of having motor skills but they are still prone to judgmental and coordination errors.
3. Teen drivers are more prone to use their phone while driving and are easily distracted by their passengers.
